The 27th Annual Golf Day was a success with 62 players, which was more than last year and almost $4,000 raised for Autism Spectrum Wetherill Park. The weather was kind, giving us a cool start and near perfect playing conditions on a course that thankfully had almost fully recovered from an extremely dry summer.
The wonderful ladies and gents from Autism Spectrum Wetherill Park toiled throughout the day, doing the bulk of the food preparation, BBQing and serving.
Other non-playing volunteers also deserve a mention... we're sure all of them could have found a different way to enjoy their day!
Alan, Darren, Peter, Rick, Silvana and Stewart all worked hard either setting up from 7am, manning the ship during play, or packing up at 5pm a long day.
Congratulations to the winners (pictured at the beginning of this bulletin) Wayne Levi, Luke Crawford, Peter Hughes and Paul Levi and runners up (pictured above) Trevor Bragg, Gus Guthrie, Steve Mock and Steve Johnson.
We are indebted to our sponsors, who provided cash, goods for prizes, food and drink and players. Without them the day, fun and importantly, funds raised simple doesn't happen. Many thanks to:
